Im 19 years old and I plan on going to Europe this december break. Im traveling alone, so i want to take a tour with other people around my age. I heard a lot of positive things from Continki, – except the fact that most of the people who go on the tours are 25 year olds….and older? (not sure if true….)

Are there any other good student travel tours? … maybe for people between 18 – 23?

I’ve heard good things about EF. They are originally from the "language immersion trip" business catering to 12-18 year-olds and have expanded in recent years to include the older, culturally interested crowds.

Note though that in my book all tours are expensive, EF and Contiki especially so. I personally prefer independent travel. Especially when travelling in the winter months the Eurolines bus pass is excellent value, plus it is usually no problem meeting other people in hostels.

Another company you should look into is Busabout. They offer an interesting mix of independent and guided travel and are a lot less expensive than traditional tours.
